Following Mr. 5’s attack, Brogy is left helpless as he lies on the ground. Mr. 3, taken aback by Brogy’s strength—which allowed him to shatter the candle jacket—decides to shackle his whole body. Mr. 3 with his skill known as the Doru Doru arts sword! creates a large sword and inserts it one by one into each of his limbs and legs, warning Brogy that if he tries to move his arms or legs, they will be severed. Brogy lets out a howl of anguish. With a nasty giggle Mr. 3 accelerates his candle service even more, transforming them into wax figures.
The wax begins to fall more quickly and causes a mist to enter their lungs, causing them to cough and eventually turning them into wax figurines from within. In the meantime, Brogy, who is crying, wonders if this is how they would die together and asks Elbaf why he would not allow them to perish in combat. Nami and the others begin to solidify; she cries in terror as her left hand stops moving due to the hardening.
Standing there in a composed manner, Zoro asks Brogy whether he can still move and says that it will be far more beneficial to rip off your arms and legs than to be dead. Brogy responds, “He can move,” to that. Zoro draws his blade and asks Brogy if he would assist him in crushing these idiots after he slices his own foot. Nami, who is greatly disturbed by Zoro’s scheme, claims that it is pointless and after they are free, they will capture them once more. Zoro responds that staying there would only result in definite death. Brogy commends Zoro for his audacity and says that even he was on the point of giving up the fight, but he will gladly follow him. While Zoro uses his sword to slice his own leg in an attempt to free himself, Brogy uses his bravery and last remaining strength to try to stand up.
Out of the forest, luffy, ussop, and carue appear out of nowhere, warning them that their asses will soon be kicked. They all yell at the same time, energizing one another. Upon seeing Luffy and the others, Vivi and Nami exclaim with joy. Nami advises Luffy to start by demolishing the enormous candle pillar in order to prevent them from becoming wax figurines. Luffy responds in the positive. However, Nami notices that Zoro’s leg is heavily bleeding. To which everyone is shocked and in awe of Zoro’s bravery and composure, he responds that he was only about halfway through chopping them.
