As Brogy prepares to head into battle, Nami decides to return to the ship and wait for everyone to return there. She plans to devise their next move, knowing that it will take an entire year for the log pose to finish recording the magnetic field of the island. However, Ussop becomes terrified at the prospect of going to the ship alone through the jungle, which is filled with dinosaurs. He quickly makes excuses to avoid returning to the ship. Understanding Ussop’s concerns, Nami agrees to go to meet Luffy and Vivi at the other giant’s home instead.
Meanwhile, at Dorry’s location, Luffy is growing agitated and yells at Dorry to move his house off of him. Dorry, having placed his home on top of Luffy to prevent him from intervening in the duel, speaks of the warrior’s way. He believes that running from a battle is running from one’s identity as a warrior. Dorry apologizes for doubting the Straw Hat Pirates, explaining that this is the judgment of Elbaf’s warrior god, indicating that he was not blessed with divine protection. In response, Luffy becomes more agitated, claiming that a third party has unfairly interfered with their duel, making it no longer a proper battle. He struggles to free himself from Dorry’s house.
Dorry and Brogy stand face to face, ready to begin their eternal duel. Meanwhile, Vivi, at Dorry’s location, remembers Carue, who appears to be missing.
Mr. 3, back at his hideout, recognizes the psychological disturbances that are influencing the course of the battle. He decides to target Dorry, known as the “Blue Ogre,” first, as long as they avoid direct confrontation. Mr. 3 then shifts his attention to the small pirates who have learned the secret of the boss. He plans to lure them out one by one using his “Service Set.”
In another part of the jungle, Zoro is lost and tries to find his way back to the ship. He eventually encounters Nami and asks her for directions.
As Nami and Ussop run through the jungle, they attempt to avoid contact with dinosaurs. Nami loses sight of Ussop, who is running faster, and then spots Luffy standing by a tree. Initially relieved, she soon realizes something is amiss and screams.
Nami scream terrifies Ussop, who believes she has been eaten by a dinosaur. However, Ussop soon spots Luffy and Vivi, dashing towards them. He explains the situation to them, and Vivi concludes that if Baroque Works agents are tailing them, they would only target Nami, as she’s the one on their target list, not Ussop. Vivi explains to Ussop what happened with Dorry. Ussop becomes deeply frustrated, as he holds a high respect for the giant warriors, and he screams that the fight should not end that way.
Amid the fierce battle between Brogy and Dorry, Mr. 3 sneaks into the battle zone. As Brogy raises his axe to attack and Dorry tries to block the strike, Mr. 3 intervenes by applying a slippery substance to Dorry’s feet, making him slip and rendering him unable to defend against Brogy’s incoming attack.
