As Nami and Usopp uncover the secret of Little Garden, a massive giant named Brogy boards their ship and asks for rum. Nervously, Usopp informs him that they have some, but unexpectedly, a dinosaur bites Brogy. With his enormous axe, Brogy beheads the dinosaur and proudly proclaims himself as Elbaf’s strongest warrior. He warmly welcomes Nami and Usopp as his guests.
Luffy, meanwhile, climbs onto the dinosaur’s head to get a better view of the area. Unfortunately, the dinosaur tosses him into its mouth and swallows him whole. Another giant, Dorry, intervenes, beheading the dinosaur to save Luffy. Dorry, too, claims the title of Elbaf’s strongest warrior and invites Luffy and Vivi to his home.
Nami and Usopp are left with no choice but to accompany Brogy to his home. He prepares meat for his guests and offers it to them. Nami and Usopp become alarmed as they notice skeletons scattered around. While eating, Nami inquires how long it takes for the log pose to record on this island. Brogy’s response leaves them in disbelief: a whole year.
Luffy and Vivi enjoy a meat feast at Dorry’s home. While eating, Luffy curiously asks why Dorry lives alone and if he doesn’t have a village. Dorry explains that his village, Elbaf, a village of warriors, is located somewhere on the Grand Line. In Elbaf, they have a unique law to resolve disputes. When conflicts arise and can’t be settled, they beseech their god, Elbaf, for judgment. Elbaf is just and provides divine protection to those in the right, ensuring the survival of the righteous. Dorry reveals that he and Brogy engaged in a duel, and this island became their battleground. However, it’s been a century since the duel began, and they’ve long forgotten the original reason for their quarrel.
While they discuss these ancient grudges, a massive volcano erupts. Dorry states that the eruption of the middle volcano is the signal for their battle. He emphasizes that it’s no longer about hate but a matter of pride, and Brogy arrives from the opposite side of the island, ready to engage in their eternal duel. Both giants, driven by their warrior spirit, launch formidable attacks against each other, even though the cause of their quarrel has long been lost to history.
