Soon, the Straw Hat Pirates reach the second island “Little Garden” on the Grand Line. This island appears untouched by civilization, covered in dense jungle. Nami is overcome with fear, having never encountered such unusual vegetation. They soon hear a loud scream and spot a tiger that collapses in front of them drenched in blood. Everyone gets worried and Nami decides to stay on the ship until their log pose finishes recording so they can leave immediately.

However, Luffy surprises everyone by expressing his desire to explore the island and requests Sanji to prepare a lunchbox. He senses adventure in this wild place and is eager to investigate. Vivi, too, joins Luffy in exploring the island, hoping to take her mind off her concerns about her kingdom during the log pose’s recording. They both venture into the jungle.

Zoro also wants to stretch his legs but is stopped by Sanji, who asks him to hunt for edible animals. Zoro playfully teases Sanji, claiming he’ll catch animals that Sanji would never be able to kill. In response, Sanji proposes a contest: whoever brings back the most kilograms of meat wins. They head into the jungle to hunt.

Now, Nami and Usopp are the only ones left on the ship, and they are terrified by the situation. They watch as their friends venture into the island. Nami becomes concerned about the island’s name, Little Garden, and decides to check a book in her collection for information.

Meanwhile, Luffy explores the island, encountering ancient creatures like giant clams, squids, and even dinosaurs. Vivi deduces that the island is prehistoric, as it seems trapped in the age of dinosaurs. The Grand Line’s chaotic climate and difficulty in navigating have created unique cultures on each island, with limited foreign interaction.

Nami rushes to Usopp, having found the book she was looking for, and shares an alarming discovery. The island is named Little Garden because it’s inhabited by giants, making it a “little garden” to its colossal residents.
