However, their escape is thwarted by Miss Friday and Mr. 13. Just as they dash to punish the fleeing agents, two individuals suddenly appear, striking terror into Mr. 13 and Miss Friday. These newcomers are Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine.
Meanwhile, Zoro climbs onto the roof to enjoy the remaining night in silence, savoring his drink. Mr. 8 is determined not to die there, reminding himself of his crucial mission. When he attempts to stand up, he overhears Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine making fun of him and insulting him for being defeated by a single swordsman.
Mr. 5 informs Mr. 8 that they are there for a specific reason, not to assist in fighting pirates. They reveal that their boss personally sent them due to concerns about the organization’s secrecy being compromised. While they don’t know the exact secret, the organization’s creed is built on secrecy, and their boss’s true identity must remain concealed. They discovered that an agent from a particular kingdom infiltrated Baroque Works.
Hearing this, Mr. 8 goes pale and wonders if it’s the end for him. He decides to attack Mr. 5 with his explosive balls and ask Miss Wedenesday to run away. But in just a mere second he is blasted away by Mr. 5 and Miss Wednesday gets caught by Miss Valentine. Mr. 5 then exposes the culprit, who is Igaram, the head of Alabasta Kingdom’s royal guards, and Miss Wednesday, who is none other than Alabasta’s princess, Nefertari Vivi. They reveal that, under their boss’s orders, they must eliminate Igaram and Vivi, who are spies for Alabasta.
As Vivi prepares to attack Mr. 5, Mr. 9 intervenes to buy her time to escape while he takes on Mr. 5. Mr. 9 charges at Mr. 5 with his metallic bat, but he is repelled by Mr. 5’s cannon attack. This gives Vivi the chance to flee on her spot-billed duck, Carue, but she is pursued by Mr. 5 and Miss Valentine.
