Gin shows up and mockingly laughs at Luffy.
Gin: I don’t think that you will be able to avenge your comrades.
Luffy: Shut up, you fox. I will kick your ass and defeat you.
Both of the fighters glare at each other and try to predict each other’s moves. The tension in the air grows thicker as their eyes lock, their determination evident. Luffy’s unwavering resolve fuels his determination to prove Gin wrong, while Gin’s mocking laughter only intensifies his desire to crush Luffy’s spirit.
Gin makes his first move. He holds his sword with both of his hands above chest level and points it towards Luffy.
Gin (murmurs): Buto, and his sword extends with lightning speed and aims for Luffy.
Luffy quickly dodges to the side, narrowly avoiding Gin’s sword thrust. The wind created by the blade whistles past his ear, fueling Luffy’s adrenaline even more, and he jumps back, trying to distance himself from Gin.
Luffy begins by infusing his body with Haki, a mysterious energy that makes his body harden like metal and enhances his fighting abilities. Once his body is charged with Haki, Luffy starts by inflating his muscles. This inflation process is akin to blowing air into a balloon. His entire body, especially his arms and legs, swells up significantly. As Luffy continues to inflate his muscles, they become incredibly powerful and dense.
BOUNDMAN TRANSFORMATION
Luffy’s appearance undergoes a dramatic change during the transformation. He gains a more muscular and imposing physique, with his skin taking on a reddish tint. His hair also stands up on end, giving him a wild and intimidating look.
Luffy (screams): Boundman!
BOUNDMAN
With his Boundman transformation, Luffy’s strength and agility reach extraordinary levels. His increased muscle mass allows him to deliver devastating punches and kicks, capable of shattering even the toughest opponents. The sheer force behind his attacks is enough to send shockwaves through the air, leaving his enemies in awe and fear. Luffy gains the ability to move in a unique way. He bounces and stretches like a rubber ball, allowing him to propel himself quickly and unpredictably. This bouncing movement makes him difficult to target and enhances his agility.
Seeing Luffy bounce like a balloon, Gin starts laughing as Luffy is unable to stand properly. Gin’s laughter echoes through the air, his amusement evident as he watches Luffy struggle to maintain his balance. The sight of Luffy’s unsteady movements only adds to the wild and unpredictable nature of his Boundman form, making him even more intimidating to his opponents.
Luffy, without wasting any time, dashes towards gin.
Luffy: Gomu Gomu no Kong Gun! After compressing his fist into his enlarged forearm (and making it look like the barrel of an actual cannon), Luffy flies towards Gin at high speeds and unleashes a devastating short-range punch with massive power.
GOMU-GOMU-NO KONG GUN
Gin, surprised by the speed and agility of Luffy’s boundman, is unable to guard against it, and when the punch makes contact, it releases an overwhelming shockwave and impact, causing massive damage.
The force of the impact sends Gin flying through the trees, leaving a trail of destruction in his wake. Luffy’s Kong Gun proves to be a formidable attack, leaving Gin battered and struggling to recover from the devastating blow.
Luffy’s Kong Gun is followed by his another attack.
Luffy (screams): Gomu Gomu no Rhino Schneider! After compressing both legs into his body, Luffy delivers a double-flying kick. It has enough power to send Gin crashing through dozens of rock boulders. The ground shakes as Gin crashes through the rock boulders, creating a cloud of dust and debris.
GOMU-GOMU-NO RHINO SCHNEIDER
Luffy, with deep concentration, tries to look through the cloud of dust. He anxiously awaits the dust to settle, hoping to catch a glimpse of Gin’s defeated form. As the dust slowly clears, Luffy’s heart sinks as he realizes that Gin has somehow managed to withstand the devastating attack and is still standing, albeit barely.
Gin grits his teeth in anger and irritation gets ready to attack, gripping his sword tightly and taking the stance to unleash some unpredictable attack.
Gin (shouts): Kamishini no yari! He swirls his sword in thin air. A white light gets emitted, and the other side of the forest is separated in half for about 10 kilometers, like a piece of paper depicting Gin’s strength and power.
KAMISHINI NO YARI (BANKAI)
Luffy skillfully evaded the attack by propelling himself into the air by rapidly releasing compressed air from his legs.
Luffy (self-talking): What was that white light? It is surely dangerous. I have to be careful.
Luffy, witnessing the destruction caused by the enigmatic white light, takes a big gulp of nervousness.
Gin, with his mighty roar, exclaimed Buto Renjin. By adopting a stance where Gin firmly grips his sword with both hands and places the hilt squarely on the center of his chest, Gin is able to utilize the tremendous extension and contraction properties of his sword to an even more terrifying extent than its normal state in multiple successions. It seems like hundreds of swords are attacking at the same time. This occurs in the form of a piercing maneuver where the extension and contraction of the blade become almost completely unseen to even the most diligent of observers.
BUTO RENJIN
Luffy is unable to guard against Buto Renjin. Even Luffy’s haki is pierced by the unforeseen attacks, and he begins to crash onto the ground from the sky.
Gin lunges onto Luffy and kicks him in the mid-air. Luffy is tossed like a toy to the other side of the forest. The impact of Gin’s kick sends Luffy hurtling through the trees, crashing into them with tremendous force. As he lands on the ground, his body aches from the combined assault of Buto Renjin and Gin’s attack, leaving him vulnerable and struggling to regain his footing.
Gin smiles and questions Luffy: Is this the best you can do? And laughs evilly.
Luffy grits his teeth, determination burning in his eyes as he slowly rises to his feet. Despite the pain coursing through his body, he refuses to back down and clenches his fists tightly. With a fierce determination, Luffy replies, “You haven’t seen anything yet!”
Luffy coughs up blood and tries to take a breath.
Gin approaches Luffy to finish him.
Luffy jumps back, gains the ground, and screams with his lungs out his deadly attack.
Luffy: Culverin!!!!
Luffy launches a regular straight punch at Gin, amplified with stretching. However, Gin ducks under and evades the attack, but to his surprise, the punch redirects and again aims for Gin. Using a combination of Haki and his rubber body, Luffy is able to redirect his punches during an attack instead of retracting them back, allowing himself to avoid the necessary build-up time between attacks. This technique gives Luffy an advantage in combat, as he can continuously launch powerful strikes without pause. With his enhanced speed and agility, Luffy becomes a formidable opponent, keeping his enemies on their toes and unable to predict his next move. Though in boundless form, the attack can continue stretching without losing momentum.
Gin, with his agile body and lightning speed reflexes, successfully avoids the culverin and jumps high into the air, activating his bankai, and in just a mere second, he slashes Luffy with his extended sword and makes the culverin an unsuccessful attempt. Gin’s bankai enhances his sword’s reach and speed, making it difficult for Luffy to anticipate his attacks. As Luffy tries to recover from the unexpected strike, Gin swiftly maneuvers around him, taking advantage of his superior agility. The battle between these two formidable opponents intensifies as they showcase their impressive skills and strategies.
Gin: I told you, you could not defeat me. I am the God of this town, and defying the wimps of God is unethical and shall be punished through death. Hahahahahhahah
Luffy is fully exhausted and is taking deep breaths. Luffy’s transformation into Boundman is a high-risk, high-reward technique. There is a time limit to how long Luffy can maintain Boundman. If he stays in this form for too long, he becomes exhausted and weakened once it wears off.
Luffy gathers his courage and last ounce of strength and stands up again.
Luffy: I cannot maintain the boundman form for too long. I have to end this quickly. This would be the last attack by Boundman. Everything lies on it.
Luffy: You fox, do not underestimate me. I will beat you and avenge my friends.
Luffy clenches his fists, determination shining in his eyes. He knows that this final attack could either lead him to victory or defeat. With a fierce battle cry, he charges towards his opponent, ready to give it his all.
Gin (hysterically laughing): Defeat me? You are barely able to stand and you are thinking of defeating me. You are an interesting fellow.
Luffy is shouting with his lungs out, Double Culverin. He throws two punches at Gin, and stretching amplifies them. The punches change direction in mid-air whenever Gin evades the attack. Moreover, two punches that are chasing gin at the same time make it more difficult to evade.
Luffy plans to create confusion with his double culverin and is waiting for Gin to make an opening. But to his surprise, the cunning fox (Gin) destroys Luffy’s double culverin by overpowering him with his formidable sword, which defends every attack of the double culverin, and with his lightning-fast reflexes, he jumps on the luffy and delivers a roundhouse kick on his face. Luffy crashes onto the ground and is transformed back to his normal self. Luffy is exhausted and weakened by using Boundman Transformation.
As Luffy struggles to get back on his feet, Gin takes advantage of the situation and prepares to deliver a finishing blow.
Gin: I told you rubber bastard, that you could not defeat me. Are you satisfied now, or shall I give you more proof of the difference in power?
Gin, with his blood thirsty sword, starts walking to Luffy. Luffy, unable to stand and move, lies on the ground. Luffy clenches his fist to fight, but he is too weak to do anything.
