After a warm-up fight, Luffy gets serious, and Arlong lunges at him, attempting to bite him to death. However, Luffy skillfully evades all of Arlong’s attacks. Arlong, with his powerful teeth and jaw, bites down a whole pillar, showcasing his formidable strength. Seeing Arlong’s fierce nature, Luffy becomes even more excited for the battle.
Arlong takes the opportunity to explain the perceived superiority of fishmen compared to humans, but Luffy disagrees. He admits that he may be weak and reliant on his friends, but he confidently proclaims that there’s one thing he can do – beat Arlong. Luffy decides to fight Arlong with swords and takes two of them in hand. He starts randomly swinging the swords in the air, hoping for a lucky strike. However, one of the swords is crushed by Arlong’s powerful teeth, and the other is thrown out of sight.
Despite this setback, Luffy seizes another chance and manages to hit Arlong in the face, breaking his teeth. Arlong, being a shark fishman, has the ability to regenerate his teeth, and the new ones are even stronger than before. He surprises everyone by pulling out two pairs of freshly grown teeth, holding one set in each hand. With three sharp jaws – two in his hands and one on his face – Arlong charges at Luffy.
Luffy narrowly evades the deathly bites by using his fishmen followers as shields. The intense battle between Luffy and Arlong continues, with Luffy doing everything he can to defeat the formidable fishman and save the village from his tyranny.
