Gin conveys a message to Sanji, requesting Luffy to meet him at the Grand Line, provided Gin survives the poison. He explains how Don’s ambitions became his own, and in the end, he plans to do things right. Gin asks for a boat, and the ingredients boat is handed over to him to help his fleet leave the area. Gin expresses his gratitude to Sanji for everything and bids farewell.
The next morning, Luffy wakes up covered in bandages. Sanji declines the invitation to become a member of Luffy’s crew. He feels a responsibility to protect the restaurant and everyone there, so he decides not to become a pirate until the old geezer, Zeff, acknowledges his cooking skills. Despite this, Sanji shares his dream of finding All Blue, a miraculous sea, with a broad smile on his face.
However, the next morning at breakfast, all the cooks behave in a discriminatory manner. They spit out the soup and curse its flavors, which Sanji prepared as the in-charge. Sanji becomes angry and heated by their behavior. Even Zeff throws away the soup Sanji prepared and speaks ill of it. In a fit of fury, Sanji holds Zeff by his collar, but Zeff punches him, leaving Sanji with tears in his eyes as he walks away from the room.
Meanwhile, inside the room, Zeff explains to Luffy the reason for treating Sanji this way. He believes that praising Sanji will make him stay at the restaurant, and this behavior is meant to motivate him to leave for the sea and pursue his ambition of finding All Blue. Unbeknownst to them, Sanji is sitting just outside the room and overhears the entire conversation.
