As Pearl sees the blood and becomes increasingly nervous, he starts running wild, screaming and causing chaos in the area. Having grown up in the jungle, Pearl’s instinct when faced with danger is to use fire to exterminate his enemies. Similarly, his Iron Shield ability enables him to surround himself with fire to enhance his defensive capabilities against adversaries.
Determined to stop Pearl’s rampage, Sanji steps forward and confronts him head-on. With swift and powerful kicks, Sanji manages to push Pearl back, attempting to calm his wild instincts. However, Pearl is adamant about his plan to set the whole ship on fire. He scatters his fiery pearls, but much to everyone’s astonishment, the powerful wind blast generated by Red Leg Zeff’s mighty kick extinguishes the fire and prevents disaster.
In response to the escalating situation, Don Krieg decides to take drastic action. Don swings his giant iron spiked ball, attached to a chain, in a bid to end the fight. However, Luffy counters this move with his Gomu Gomu no Bazooka attack, causing the giant ball to become stuck in the Don Krieg’s ship’s mast. When the mast breaks, it falls on Pearl, rendering him unconscious and effectively declaring his defeat.
But suddenly Gin comes from inside with his gun pointing at Zeff and asks Sanji to surrender.
