Luffy and the rest of the crew are excitedly drawing their pirate flag, but none of them possesses much artistic talent except for Usopp. With his creative touch, Usopp designs a flag that features a skull and two crossbones, with a straw hat resting atop the skull. The group is delighted with the flag and commends Usopp for his excellent effort.

Later that evening, Luffy attempts to fire the cannon on the ship to test its accuracy and firepower. However, he repeatedly misses the target. Observing the appropriate distance and angle, Usopp steps in and skillfully hits the boulder right on target. Impressed by Usopp’s sharpshooting skills, Luffy decides to appoint him as the Sniper of the crew.

During their voyage, the group spots a man on a ship causing chaos and destruction. Luffy confronts and defeats him to put an end to his reckless actions. Surprisingly, Zoro recognizes the man as Jhonny, and they recall that they were once bounty hunters together, hunting pirates in the past. Zoro inquires about their other buddy, Yosaku, and is saddened to learn that Yosaku is sick, with his teeth starting to fall out. Jhonny explains that they were resting on a boulder in the middle of the sea when they were unexpectedly fired upon by cannons.

Feeling responsible for targeting them, Luffy and Usopp apologize for the misunderstanding. Nami diagnoses Yosaku with scurvy and suggests that taking vitamin C will aid in his recovery from the injuries. She explains that many pirates suffer from scurvy due to the lack of a proper diet during long voyages. Determined to prevent such health issues within their crew, Luffy decides to search for a skilled sea cook who can take care of their diet.

Jhonny, knowing the right place to find a cook, leads the entire crew to the Sea Restaurant, which is a 2-3 days voyage away. Additionally, he informs Zoro that the person he has been searching for has been spotted near the restaurant. The group prepares for a new adventure as they sail towards their next destination.
