Tearfully, Helmeppo approaches his father seeking revenge against Luffy, but his plea is met with selfishness and self-centeredness. Morgan, his father, dismisses him and insists he handle his own problems.
Luffy returns to Zoro after discovering that Zoro wields katana swords. He inquires about the whereabouts of Zoro’s swords, realizing they hold great significance to him. Luffy agrees to retrieve the stolen swords from the Marines in exchange for Zoro joining his crew.
Within the marine base, all the soldiers gather on the balcony to unveil the towering statue of Captain Morgan, a project that has taken many years to complete. However, Luffy suddenly appears and disrupts the scene, shattering the statue. This act leaves Morgan enraged and speechless.
Meanwhile, Coby approaches Zoro and reveals everything about Luffy’s motive for fighting in the streets and his unwavering determination to become the Pirate King. As soon as Coby finishes explaining, he is shot in the arm and falls to the ground.
