In the midst of the Shukas Shu technique, Luffy is attacked, but he suppresses the pain and manages to get a hold of Clahador. He throws him to the ground, breaking his rhythm. Luffy then jumps onto Clahador, wrapping his body around him to neutralize his special technique. Meanwhile, in the jungle, Jango easily overpowers the boys, but Miss Kaya intervenes and threatens to commit suicide if Jango doesn’t stop hurting them. Faced with the risk of losing everything if Miss Kaya dies before writing the will, Jango submits to her demand and allows her to write it.

However, just as she finishes writing, Jango raises his round blade to kill her. Zoro and Usopp arrive on the scene and see Jango about to strike Miss Kaya. Zoro swiftly moves to save her, but the distance is too great for him to reach in time. As Jango grabs Miss Kaya’s throat, the boys muster their courage and strike Jango with their sticks, buying precious seconds for Zoro to get closer. With a burst of speed, Zoro rushes towards them and uses his swords to cut down the branches blocking his way.

Ussop, full of gratitude, thanks Zoro for clearing the path, and taking advantage of the opportunity, he launches a surprise attack using his gunpowder star with the catapult, shooting Jango. Back at the northern slope, Luffy has successfully wrapped his limbs around Clahador to restrain him. He yells, “Gomu Gomu no Bell,” stretching his head and delivering a powerful headbutt to Clahador.
