Awakening from a distressing nightmare where Ussop is depicted as her assailant, Kaya finds herself bewildered by his actions the previous day. Anxious to make sense of the situation, she seeks out Cladhor, only to discover Meri, the other butler, lying unconscious in a pool of blood. Luckily, Meri is still alive, and he reveals the true identity of Cladhor as a pirate, confirming Ussop’s claims about the impending pirate attack on the village.
Meri emphasizes that the key to saving the village lies with Kaya herself. He suggests that if she hands over all her wealth and the mansion to Cladhor and his crew, they might spare the villagers. Having seen Cladhor head in the direction of the north entrance, Kaya agrees to follow this course of action and proceeds towards the shore.
Meanwhile, at the north slope, the Nyaban brothers make their appearance. With their large claws and feline-like demeanor, they present a formidable challenge. Deceptively feigning cowardice, one of the Nyaban brothers catches Zoro off guard in a close-range confrontation, swiftly stealing two of his swords. The situation becomes even more dire, and the outcome hangs in the balance as the stakes continue to rise.
