As evening falls and Cladhor learns about the events in his absence, he smirks and accuses Usopp of lying. Meanwhile, Miss Kaya is asleep, unaware of what transpired. Shortly after, another butler presents Cladhor with a gift to mark his three-year anniversary – a pair of glasses. However, in a wicked display, Cladhor breaks the glasses and assassinates the other butler. It is the crescent moon with only three hours remaining until the attack, tension rises.

Luffy and his crew devise a plan to defend the village, focusing on the single slope that serves as the entrance from the south. Their strategy involves spilling oil to make the enemies slip and then attacking them amidst the chaos. However, they realize the pirates have changed their approach and are attacking from the north side. In response, Usopp hurries to the north of the village to block the slope, preventing the pirates from entering. Meanwhile, Nami becomes anxious about the north direction since the ships carrying all her treasures are docked there. She rushes towards the north but slips. In a stroke of quick thinking, she grabs onto Zoro and pulls him back to safety before making her way up again.

Meanwhile, Luffy loses his way and accidentally ends up in the village instead of reaching the north side. Zoro, on the other hand, remains trapped in the slippery slope, struggling to climb up and join the others. The situation becomes even more intense as the impending pirate attack draws closer.
