Escaping from the wrath of the angry villagers, Usopp decides to head to the mansion to reveal Cladhor the Butler’s true identity. Upon waking up from the hypnotism, Luffy shares the overheard conversation with Nami and Zoro, leading them to agree to leave the island before the impending attack. Meanwhile, Miss Kaya orders a gift for Cladhor to mark his three-year stay in the village.
When Usopp arrives at the mansion, he exposes Cladhor’s real identity as a pirate driven by greed to claim all the mansion’s wealth. However, Kaya refuses to believe him, accusing him of lying for revenge. As their heated argument unfolds, a guard intervenes, attempting to remove Usopp from the mansion. But Usopp stands his ground, using his catapult skills to defeat the armed guard. In a desperate attempt to save Kaya, Usopp tries to pull her out of the window, urging her to escape the village. Yet, another guard fires a shot at Usopp, which narrowly misses his vital organs but injures his left arm. With the villagers closing in, Usopp narrowly evades capture, fleeing the mansion.
Later that evening, Usopp catches up with Luffy and the rest of the group, acknowledging that no one believes him now. However, he remains convinced that a pirate attack is imminent. Despite the villagers’ disbelief, Usopp, feeling a deep attachment and commitment to the village, plans to defend it single-handedly, weaving yet another lie for the villagers. Moved by Usopp’s dedication, Luffy decides to intervene and offer his group’s assistance in saving the village. United in purpose, the entire group agrees to aid Usopp in their mission to protect the village from the impending pirate attack.
