Feeling deeply insulted, Usopp decides to leave the mansion, vowing never to return. Consequently, everyone is asked to depart from the premises. Later, Cladhor shares the reason for his utmost concern for Miss Kaya: she is the daughter of the very individuals who saved his life three years ago when he was in a dire situation. After losing his job and wandering aimlessly in the village, it was Miss Kaya’s parents who came to his rescue, giving him purpose and meaning in life. This profound connection is what drives Cladhor’s actions, though he also defends himself by painting Usopp in a negative light throughout the village.
Meanwhile, Luffy goes after Usopp, who has headed towards the shore. Whenever something troubling happens, Ussop tends to seek solace by going to the shore to look out at the ships. On the shore, one of the Usopp Pirates, Tamanegi, frantically runs towards Nami and Zoro alerting them about a peculiar individual who walks backward—Hypnotist Jango.
As Luffy mentions the name “Yassop,” Usopp is taken aback and inquires about any relation of his father with Luffy. Luffy reassures him that Yassop is on Shanks’ ship, and Usopp bears a striking resemblance to his father. As they reminisce about the recent incident at the mansion, they spot Cladhor standing by the seashore, which surprises them. Cladhor is engaged in a mysterious meeting with someone they have never seen before. Intrigued, Luffy and Usopp hide in the bushes to eavesdrop on their conversation, only to overhear a shocking revelation—there’s a plot to assassinate Miss Kaya, and the other individual is none other than Jango the Hypnotist.
