Arlong points his sword at Ussop, demanding to know the whereabouts of Zoro, the man who defeated his fellow fishmen. Nami, feeling frustrated by the timing of these events, can’t believe why this is happening now. Determined not to let Ussop and the others foil her eight-year plan, she decides to take matters into her own hands and prove her loyalty to the Arlong Pirates until she fulfills her goal.
In the midst of this, Hachi realizes that the man he gave a ride to was indeed the Pirate Hunter Zoro and apologizes for his negligence. On the other hand, Nami is resolute in her decision to kill Ussop herself, demonstrating her unwavering loyalty to the Arlong Pirates. She strikes Ussop with her extendable baton, which can reach up to 6 feet in length.
Ussop tries to counterattack by firing a smoke bomb and plans to escape under the cover of smoke. However, Nami anticipates his move, catching him by surprise and stabbing him in the stomach before throwing him into the water, intending to let him die. Jhonny witnesses the entire incident and rushes to tell Zoro about what he saw. Nami’s actions serve as an example of her loyalty to Arlong and her determination to protect her plan.
Meanwhile, one of the crew members discovers a treasure map hidden in Nami’s room. The map leads to the treasure on Cocoyashi Island, which Nami plans to buy after accumulating 100 million beli. Nami dismisses it as none of their concern and leaves with the map. As this unfolds, Luffy and the others also reach the main gate of Arlong Park, and Zoro catches up with them at the park.
