Despite their captain being dead, the trio is in a dilemma as the whole crew of Buggy Pirates inexplicably laughs. Zoro approaches the cage where Luffy is locked up and asks the crew for the key, but in a shocking turn of events, he is stabbed from behind in the abdomen. To their surprise, they witness a floating hand holding the knife, and Buggy, who apparently consumed the Chop-Chop Fruit, reveals his ability to split his body into pieces and reassemble it at will.

Luffy, angered by Buggy’s sneak attack, taunts him about his big nose, which further infuriates the pirate captain. The whole crew, including Nami, is in terror as they witness the confrontation. Buggy launches another attack, sending his hand holding a knife flying towards Luffy’s head. However, Luffy skillfully catches the knife in his mouth and confidently declares Buggy’s defeat, leading to laughter from the entire crew.

Luffy then instructs Zoro to run away, hinting at his next move. Zoro comprehends the plan and starts running. Buggy’s hand, still holding the knife, chases after Zoro in an attempt to capture him. Zoro reaches the cannon and points it towards Buggy and his crew. Realizing what’s about to happen, Buggy recalls the Buggy Cannon and screams in terror. Nami quickly lights the fuse, and the cannon fires at Buggy and his crew.

Seizing the opportunity, the trio escapes. Despite his injury, Zoro manages to lift the cage and make their getaway. After everything settles down, Buggy realizes their escape and learns about the stolen cage keys.
